Where Do I Begin?

If this is your first time using MyZipBiz (MZB) then there are some steps that you will want to take to get your web site up and running.

Under the 'Pages' tab there are 4 categories: Page Maintenance, Site Information, Style & Theme and Search Engine Submission. You want to go into Site Information and fill out the information about your company. Note: You can either have the company name or company logo in the heading bar, not both. Save Changes when you are done.
Go into 'Style & Theme' and select one for your web site and save changes.
After you fill out the site info and pick a style and theme you are ready to begin building your site.
Select 'Edit' under 'Page Functions' for the Home Page. The Home Page is the first page that people see when viewing your site. It is normally used as an introduction to your site. Make sure to save changes when you are done.
The rest of the pages are optional they are not required.
The Contact Page gives your visitors a chance to give you some feedback. It is basically an email that will be sent to your email address: username@myzipbiz.com unless you have your email forwarded to another address*. You can add some text to the 'Page Text' box or you can just save changes. A form will automatically appear on the page when it is viewed. The form includes boxes to fill out the name, email address, subject, and comments from the visitor.
The Catalog Page is where the visitor accesses your products. Your catalog page won't be useful until you have added products to your product database.
The GuestBook Page allows visitors to leave a comment or their name for other visitors to see. You choose what you want them fill out and you can delete a message if you feel it is necessary.
The FAQ Page ,aka frequently asked questions page, allows you to put questions and answers for visitors to see.
Once you are ready to post your web site on the internet for the public to see click 'publish site' at the bottom of the page maintenance screen. You can always go back and make changes - you will need to publish the site again before the changes are viewable by the public.

* You can have your email forwarded to another address by going into the 'Account' tab.
